Polyphonic Attack Filter Pedal for Smooth Volume Swells
The Electro-Harmonix Pico Swello is a compact attack filter pedal that transforms your playing into smooth, expressive volume swells. Based on the well-known attack function from the POG2, it applies an envelope to each individual note, whether played solo or within chords. This allows for natural, flowing transitions that can soften your attack or create dramatic ambient textures.

Per Note Volume Swells for Expressive Playing
Unlike traditional volume-based effects, the Pico Swello processes each note independently. This polyphonic response ensures that chords remain clear and articulate while still benefiting from the swelling effect. From subtle softening of pick attack to slow, evolving fade-ins, the pedal adapts to a wide range of playing styles.

Integrated Low Pass Filter for Shaped Tone Control
The onboard low-pass filter adds another layer of tonal shaping, allowing you to sculpt the character of your swells. With adjustable cutoff frequency and modulation controls, you can create anything from warm, rounded tones to dynamic filter sweeps that respond to your playing.

Selectable Resonance and Q Control for Detailed Sound Design
The filter section includes selectable resonance modes along with adjustable Q settings, giving you control over how pronounced the filter peak becomes. This allows for subtle tonal enhancement or more pronounced, synth-like filter effects depending on your settings.

Simple Control Layout with Powerful Results
The Pico Swello features an intuitive control layout that makes it easy to dial in complex sounds. The Attack knob controls the swell speed, while Volume sets the overall output level. Additional controls for frequency and modulation allow for fine-tuning of the filter response, making it easy to shape your sound quickly.

Ideal for Ambient, Swell, and Synth Style Effects
This pedal is well suited for players exploring ambient soundscapes, reverse-style effects, and synth-inspired tones. It can smooth out fast passages or create evolving textures that add depth and movement to your playing.

Compact Pico Design for Modern Pedalboards
Housed in the Pico series enclosure, the Swello offers advanced sound shaping in a space-saving format. Its small footprint makes it easy to integrate into any pedalboard setup without sacrificing functionality.
