Fender California Deluxe Redondo Mahogany Acoustic Guitar - Natural

The Fender California Deluxe Redondo Mahogany delivers a rich, earthy acoustic tone wrapped up in a classic full-sized dreadnought body shape. Thanks to its construction, this acoustic delivers warmth, a powerful mid-range focus, and room-filling acoustic volume, making it an inspiring tool for songwriting, rehearsals and acoustic jam sessions.

Solid Mahogany Top for Mid-Range Richness

The tonal heart of this instrument is its solid mahogany top, a choice configuration that yields smooth high frequencies and an organic, rounded acoustic character with a strong mid presence. Supported internally by custom-voiced scalloped X-bracing, the soundboard vibrates with absolute freedom, unlocking superior low-end potential and heightened responsiveness. Paired with stable laminated mahogany back and sides, the framework ensures excellent structural durability against changing room environments while adding harmonic complexity and a woody, deep resonance to every strum.

Great Playability

Married to the body is a mahogany neck that features a great playing,  ergonomic slim "C" shape profile. The neck is treated with a fast satin urethane finish to prevent friction, allowing the hand to sweep cleanly up and down the register. Topped with a smooth walnut fingerboard, the layout incorporates a contemporary 12" (30.5 cm) radius, a standard 25.5" (64.8 cm) scale length for crisp note definition, and a 43 mm nut width that leaves generous room for accurate chord fingering near the first position.

Reliable Performance Hardware with Fender Identity

This dreadnought breaks from traditional acoustic styling by incorporating a signature 6-in-line headstock, a design choice directly inspired by Fender's electric heritage that ensures equal string tension across the upper register. Tuning stability is anchored by a set of sealed die-cast split-shaft tuning machines, which lock pitch securely over prolonged sets and enable quick string replacement. A premium Micarta nut and matching saddle optimize energy transmission from the strings to the top timber, maximizing natural sustain and overall note separation.
