Not yet released in Japan! A limited edition Made-in-Japan model has arrived, featuring a beautiful maple burl top and a fantastical color scheme reminiscent of a sunset over the coast!

Since its debut in 1987, Ibanez has consistently created SR models that match the times by incorporating feedback from artists and the market, as well as trends in music and fashion. A compact body that fits comfortably against the body, a slim neck, and a wide range of sounds—in short, high playability for the player is the identity of the SR model.

This model is a limited edition Japanese-made model produced for overseas markets, and this is the only one available in Japan.

● Maple burl top & Honduran mahogany body (with Sunset Coast finish)
The mahogany body, a signature feature of the SR model, uses carefully selected wood sourced from Honduras in Central America. Its sweet tone and rich mid-low frequency characteristics are complemented by the burl maple top, which adds a clear sound image and attack. Furthermore, the finish, featuring multiple colors, is a unique characteristic of this custom model, handcrafted by skilled artisans.

●Atlas HP shape, 5-piece maple/purpleheart neck. This slim neck is shaped to the ultimate standard, producing a clear tone and attack, while also being comfortable for all players to hold. (Neck back: matte finish)

● Ebony Fingerboard: Ebony is chosen as the fingerboard material for its excellent response and long sustain. The fret edges and fingerboard edges are smoothly finished by hand.

● Nordstrand Big Single magnetic pickup (with wooden cover matching the body finish)
This is a special pickup designed specifically for this model, featuring a maple wood cover with the same finish as the body.
This pickup combines the clear tone characteristic of single-coil pickups with a powerful aggression, allowing it to stand out without getting lost in a band ensemble. Its distinctive character has earned it widespread support from modern bassists across genres.

● The MR5S bridge features an MR5S (monorail) bridge with a string spacing adjustment mechanism. Each string has an independent bridge, directly transmitting string vibrations to the body.
Additionally, the saddle can be moved ±1.5mm from side to side, allowing you to adjust the string spacing (string pitch) as needed within the movable range.

●Ibanez Custom Electronics 3-band EQ w/EQ bypass & Mid frequency switch
This equalizer produces wide-range, low-noise active sound. (Powered by a 006P alkaline battery)
A switch allows you to select the mid-range frequency band, which is crucial for a bass sound, between 250Hz, 450Hz, and 700Hz. Furthermore, it features an EQ bypass switch, allowing it to be used as a passive bass. (When bypassed: Tone control is via the Treble knob.)
