Vintage 1960 Epiphone (Gibson) E422T Century Hollowbody Electric Guitar Husk Project!

Up for sale is this vintage 1960 Epiphone (Gibson) E422T Century hollowbody electric guitar husk project. This piece will require parts and work to be playable, so please be sure to read the entire description and see all of the photos. It is offered "AS IS" and "AS FOUND".

This listing includes the wood only. Cosmetically, the original finish looks great showing heavy wear and checking which is really what you want to see out of an old guitar. There are some extra holes where different tailpieces were installed over the years (pictured), there is a small crack coming off of the neck heel where the strap button attaches (pictured), and there are two long finish checks with flaking that look like a cracks on the back of the neck but are absolutely NOT in the wood (pictured) which we inspected and reinspected just to make sure.

Our tech looked this one over and confirmed that the neck set looks good (as it sits with no tension on it) and the truss rod functions as it should in both directions. The original frets show wear and divoting and there is some fretboard divoting as well.

No case or gig bag is included but the instrument will be well-packed to ensure safe shipping.
