USED) At the time it was introduced, the CJ35 was Collings' most traditional jumbo. While it has since been discontinued in favor of the CJ45T, we always loved the "35" guitars and sold many of them. This one has a natural Sitka top and mahogany back/sides/neck. The CJ35 is always a short scale guitar, with 1 3/4" nut width and 2 5/16" string spacing at the saddle. Under the hood, it has an abbreviated tongue brace and ramped (vs scalloped) bracing and an extra tone bar. The appointments are very plain, body binding with no purfling, single-ring rosette, fire stripe pick guard. Exclusive to this series are wenge fingerboard and bridge, hard-wearing like ebony but lightweight like rosewood.
Condition is excellent with no issues whatsoever. Includes original hard case.
