Looking for a classic Stratocaster with timeless looks and a touch of individuality? This Fender Japan ST62 offers both.

Fender ST62 now in stock.

A 2012 Fender Japan ST62 from the desirable JD-Serial production period. Inspired by the iconic 1962 Stratocaster, this model delivers classic vintage-style aesthetics and the balanced tonal character that has made Stratocasters a favorite for generations.

Finished in a vibrant 3-Tone Sunburst, the guitar captures the quintessential Stratocaster appearance that players continue to admire decades later.

One particularly attractive feature of this instrument is the subtle figuring visible in the maple neck. While not overly dramatic, it adds a unique visual character that helps distinguish this guitar from standard production examples and gives it extra appeal for collectors and players alike.

The basswood body, maple neck, and rosewood fingerboard combination delivers bright Strat-style articulation with a slightly warmer and smoother tonal response thanks to the rosewood fingerboard. Clean tones are especially expressive, while light overdriven sounds remain dynamic and musical.

At only 3.24kg, the guitar is lightweight and comfortable for extended playing sessions.

The instrument has been professionally set up with comfortable action and retains approximately 80% fret life, making it ready for years of continued use.

Cosmetically, there is a finish chip near the neck plate area and a small dent on the back of the neck around the first fret position. These imperfections do not affect playability.
