XAct Tone Solutions | XTS | Pegasus Boost | Signal Lifter

Here is the front end of the legendary XTS Preamp pedal, in standalone format. This is a full range clean boost acting as a clean and clear buffer at the minimum setting, and a loud amp-crusher at maximum settings. I prefer a boost that has some attenuation or mute capability - otherwise I'd be keeping this around. It works great as a final gain stage for the obvious uses of solo boosts or driving an amp into overdrive- but that same approach works great when pushing this booster into other pedals. I appreciate that, at minimum settings, it has a clarifying effect on the signal - if I have a fuzz or octave pedal or something 'revoicing' the guitar, when it hits the pegasus there is a sort of 'lift' to the signal as the name implies. I first experienced this on the Mr. Black Boost Tiger - one-knob boost pedals are not that hard to find, but XTS are professional grade. I recently grabbed the Benson Germanium Boost, and like I mentioned earlier, since it can attenuate and mute the signal, I find that more practical for my needs.

There is a visible mark near the output jack of the pedal, I pictured it as clearly as possible - otherwise the pedal is in great shape. Thanks for checking it out!
