Bad Cat Cub V 40 Handwired EL34 40w 1x12 Tube Combo Overview

The Bad Cat Cub V 40 EL34 1x12 Combo carries forward one of the most iconic circuits in the company’s history, now fully reimagined with true point-to-point hand-wired construction. Built in Costa Mesa, California, this 40-watt version pairs classic Bad Cat chime and harmonic complexity with the added authority and punch of an EL34 power section.

With switchable EF86 and 12AX7 preamp stages, the Cub V offers impressive tonal range—from articulate, touch-sensitive cleans to bold, harmonically rich drive. A tube-driven spring reverb, dual footswitchable master volumes, buffered effects loop, and UK-made Celestion 12" custom Bad Cat speaker make this a versatile combo equally suited for stage or studio.
