This is one of the nicer bowlback mandolins we've had in a long time! We wish we could tell you more about it, but it's unlabeled. It's a higher end instrument, with the large rosewood bowl side piece has a more intricate shape than most and has binding on it. We worked some glue into a few open cracks and made sure old repairs were still repaired. We also put on fresh strings and did some light set up to it. It plays easily with correct action and has a sweet tone with good projection. The tailpiece cover is missing and the tailpiece itself is bent on one of it's edges. It has the usual pick marks, scratches and tiny dings, but most of that is very light. If you're looking for a bowlback, this is a pretty nice one! No case.
