Overall, this R8 is in very good condition with honest signs of two decades of life — nothing structural, nothing that changes how it plays, just the kind of wear that shows it's been picked up and enjoyed.
The top is clean and glossy. There are a couple of light scratches near the toggle switch that are hard to catch in photos but visible when the light hits them at an angle. Near the input jack there's a small nick in the finish. The back of the body shows some swirl marks and light surface wear consistent with mild play over the years. The headstock has minor surface checking — nothing deep, just the kind of lacquer movement you'd expect from a 2004 nitro finish. Frets show mild play wear. Everything is original and unmodified.
