Massive Power and Headroom

The Katana-500B HD's Class-D power amp circuitry cranks out 500W of power at 4 ohms, giving you headroom to spare and the ability to push the volume for aggressive slap tones or subtle growls. With its high dynamic range, this amp captures every nuance of your playing. Whether you need a clean foundation for a five-string bass or an edgy grind for a vintage four-string, the Katana-500B HD delivers.

Shape Your Sound With Integrated Effects

This amp head comes equipped with essential bass effects to enhance your core tone. The Drive control lets you dial in the perfect amount of overdrive or distortion. Compression provides smooth and even output, ideal for fingerstyle or aggressive techniques. You also get a three-band EQ with semi-parametric midrange control, allowing you to fine-tune your tone. Effects loop jacks let you connect your favorite stompboxes and rack gear.

Flexible Connectivity for Any Setup

The Katana-500B HD is equipped to handle any performance situation. It provides dual speaker outputs for driving multiple cabs, as well as a "Link Out" jack for cascading an additional speaker when using only one speaker out. Its balanced XLR DI allows sending a mic'd up signal to the mixing console, while the effects send/return jacks let you patch in your favorite stompboxes. A headphone jack is also included for silent practice.

Premium Components, Portable Design

While the Katana-500B HD packs pro-level features, its lightweight, compact chassis makes it ideal for gigging and studio use. Premium components like a high-efficiency Class-D power amp, custom transformers and MOSFET preamp ensure reliability and top-notch tone.
