Do you want a unique guitar that embodies the Fender DNA, but find Stratocasters and Telecasters too commonplace?

For those of you who feel this way, there's a model that could be considered Leo Fender's final legacy.

Its name is MUSIC MAN “STINGRAY I”. After leaving Fender, Leo Fender founded Music Man with like-minded colleagues. In 1976, he once again created this model, which is the guitar version of the Stingray. While the Stingray bass is famous, not many people know that there is also a Stingray guitar. That makes it a guitar that appeals to connoisseurs and has a certain depth.

The Stingray comes in two fingerboard radii: I (12”R) and II (7.25”R). This model is equipped with humbucker pickups and employs an active tone circuit, which was groundbreaking at the time. The controls are, from top to bottom, volume/treble/bass. The switch on the bottom row switches between rear/front/mix/phase, and there is also a seesaw switch for bright boost, achieving a wide range of tonal variations that are hard to believe for a 70s guitar.

It is often thought that "70s ash + maple = hard sound", but
this Stingray can be freely changed from bright to warm by adjusting the treble and bass. Furthermore, it boasts exceptional playability thanks to its thin grip and narrow neck width.

This guitar is recommended for those seeking a hidden gem with Fender's design philosophy, those looking to try their first vintage instrument, and those seeking a modern, clear sound in a humbucker pickup.

The StingRay, created by Fender's founder in his second career, is not just a guitar; it embodies the design philosophy and soul of Leo Fender. Experience the spirit of the 70s and feel its essence firsthand. Add another Fender to your stage.
