The Gibson SG Supreme in Ebony is a refined evolution of a legendary design; built for players who want the unmistakable aggression of an SG with elevated aesthetics and modern performance features. This is not just a stripped-down rock machine; it is a premium, forward-thinking take on a classic, designed for players who demand speed, versatility, and stage-ready presence in one cohesive instrument.

At its core, the SG Supreme pairs a mahogany body with a plain maple top, adding a touch of snap and definition to the SG's naturally warm and mid-forward voice. The result is a tone that stays articulate under gain while still delivering the thick, singing sustain players expect from this platform. Loaded with a Burstbucker Pro in the neck and a Burstbucker Pro Plus in the bridge, this guitar covers a wide tonal range, from smooth, expressive cleans to aggressive, cutting lead tones. Push and pull volume controls unlock coil tapping, giving you added clarity and versatility when you need to dial things back without sacrificing presence.

The mahogany neck features Gibson's Slim Taper profile, offering a fast, effortless feel that encourages fluid movement across the fretboard. Paired with a 10 to 16 inch compound radius ebony fingerboard and 24 medium jumbo frets, the SG Supreme is built for precision and comfort. Chords feel natural in the lower register, while bends and lead work higher up the neck remain smooth and controlled. A Graph Tech nut and locking Grover Keystone tuners provide excellent tuning stability, making this a reliable performer whether in the studio or on stage.

Visually, the SG Supreme stands apart with a sleek, modern aesthetic. The Ebony finish is deep and understated, allowing the gold hardware to stand out with a striking contrast. The absence of a pickguard gives the guitar a clean, uninterrupted look, while the mother-of-pearl Super Split Block inlays and the distinctive "Chandelier" headstock inlay add a layer of sophistication rooted in Gibson's design history.

At Cream City Music, we see the SG Supreme as a perfect fusion of tradition and innovation. It delivers the speed and bite SG players love, while introducing refined details and expanded tonal options that make it feel truly modern. If you are looking for an SG that pushes beyond the expected, this one sets a new standard.
