The Eastman AR805CE is a masterclass in archtop refinement. Handcrafted with a solid spruce top and solid handcarved maple back and sides, this Venetian-bodied semi-hollow delivers the warm, complex resonance that serious players spend a lifetime chasing. Dressed in a Truetone gloss finish with 7-ply ivoroid binding on every edge — top, back, fingerboard, f-holes, and headstock — it's as stunning to look at as it is to play.
At the heart of the AR805CE is a Lollar Custom Wound Imperial Humbucker, paired with CTS 500K pots and a Switchcraft output jack — a signal chain built for clarity, warmth, and touch sensitivity. The ebony fingerboard, adjustable ebony bridge, and ebony-on-brass tailpiece give the instrument a dark, focused voice with exceptional sustain. Gotoh gold tuners with ebony buttons complete the picture with effortless tuning stability and old-world elegance.
Whether you're playing jazz standards, blues, or pushing into more adventurous territory, the AR805CE rewards every nuance of your playing. It ships with a hardshell case and is set up to play beautifully right out of the box.
