MK1 vs. MK2 Differences

• Memory: The MK1 has 4GB internal flash, whereas the MK2 (later version) upgraded this to 59GB.
• Aftertouch: The MK2 introduced polyphonic aftertouch to the keybed, while the MK1 supports channel aftertouch.
• Firmware: Both models run the same OS, allowing the MK1 to perform most of the same synthesis tasks as the newer model via software updates.
