Up for sale is a stunning 2012 Fender Custom Shop Telecaster Deluxe Telecaster, finished in a striking transparent Candy Red over a beautifully figured quilted maple top.

This is a Custom Shop piece that blends classic Tele tone with a more refined, boutique aesthetic visually striking without losing that unmistakable Fender feel.

The ash body provides excellent resonance and clarity, while the quilted maple top gives it that high-end Custom Shop presence. The 1-piece maple neck is particularly special, featuring strong figuring throughout and a comfortable large “C” profile that feels substantial without being bulky.

Playability & Tone

This guitar delivers everything you want from a great Tele tight, articulate low end, clear highs, and that signature snap while offering a slightly more refined and balanced response thanks to the ash/maple combination.

The modern bridge makes it especially practical for players who want accurate intonation without sacrificing classic tone.

Why This One Stands Out

Custom Shop Teles with quilted maple tops don’t come up often especially in this finish. It’s a piece that sits nicely between traditional and boutique, making it equally suited to collectors and players.

The inclusion of the original Fender Custom Shop hard case further supports its collectability and overall presentation.
