The Gold Tone version is so close to the original that owners of Oahu instruments buy LS-6 pickups and hardware from Gold Tone for use in the restoration of their prized guitars. The LS-6 lap steel guitar is set up for open D tuning (DADF#AD), but other tunings can be accommodated by installing strings that are gauged for those tunings. Available as left-handed model.
