If you are a fan or collector of US made Jackson’s this is a piece that you should not miss. This was the first 8 string bass made by the Jackson shop of which there was only one other ever made. We have not been able to find the second one but do believe it is still out there based on lots of conversations with people who know.

This was custom made for Matt Thorr from the band Rough Cutt and was finished in military olive green to complement Amir Derakh’s warplane style guitars. It is in amazing condition with just one small pea sized chip on the bottom of the back of the body. It sounds as incredible as you think it would with that signature Jackson concert bass growl yet fully defined notes up and down the fretboard.

A signed note from Matt is included with the bass as is Matts strap and the original case. This bass can also be seen in the Randy Rhoads Documentary during Matts segment.

Serial # J4396 (1988)
