The Ultimate Travel-Sized Taylor, with a Custom Vibe

Don't let the compact size fool you—the Taylor GS Mini-e Special Edition is a tonal cannon that punches way above its weight class. This isn't just another travel guitar; it's a serious instrument with a voice that demands to be heard. Dressed in a stunning, hand-applied Honeyburst finish over a torrefied Sitka spruce top, this GS Mini has the look and feel of a guitar that's been loved and played for years, right out of the box.

A Top That's Aged to Perfection

The secret to this Mini's magic is the **torrefied Sitka spruce top**. Taylor's special roasting process ages the wood on a cellular level, giving it the warm, responsive, and incredibly dynamic character of a vintage instrument. You get a beautiful bloom on every note, a glassy clarity when you dig in, and a balanced midrange that's perfect for vocal accompaniment or sitting pretty in a mix. Paired with layered sapele back and sides, the result is a focused, punchy tone that records like a dream.

Effortless Playability, On Stage or on the Couch

That classic Taylor neck—carved from neo-tropical mahogany—feels instantly familiar and comfortable. With a slightly shorter 23.5" scale length and a 1-11/16" nut width, complex chords and buttery-smooth runs feel almost effortless. It's the kind of guitar you can play for hours without fatigue. And when you're ready to plug in, the onboard **ES-B electronics** translate its natural acoustic voice with pristine accuracy, and even include a built-in digital tuner for quick adjustments on the fly.

No buzz.” Our techs are professional guitarists. They understand you.

- In business since 1976! Moore Music has been a premier brick-and-mortar guitar shop in Evansville, Indiana since shortly after opening in 1976. Founder, Pat Moore, instilled in his business the concept of old-school service that we build upon today. When the current owner, Brett Mulzer, took the store online as Moore Guitars in 2013, we quickly developed a reputation for honesty and integrity in all our interactions with our customers. That’s a prime reason why we’re the fastest-growing online guitar shop.

- Old School Customer Service: Nothing is more important than helping a customer even if we don’t make a sale. We believe that if we’re honest with you, and treat you right, you’ll be back. Call us, or chat with us online. We love talking about guitars, and we want to help you find your perfect instrument. Even if it’s not from us.... but we think it will be!

- Our sales staff are all musicians! What’s more important than communication? We speak your language. Whether you’re a beginner or a professional player, we’ve been in your shoes. A lot of aspects of the guitar are intangible, and a non-player just can’t understand. It’s a guitar thing. But we can talk about tone and feel in the same language you use. We know what it means to love an instrument, and we want to help you find your new love.

You should have NO disappointments when you see this guitar and hold it for its first strum! Please call the staff at Moore Guitars if you would like to have a personal “on the phone” description of this guitar. Thank you for looking at our listing!
