Each 6.5x14” maple and 6.5x14” walnut shell have their own feel, sound, and attractive price that distinguish themselves from other Stave drums.</p> <p>The walnut stave has a classic walnut sound, also warm but darker in tone with lower undertones and a shorter sustain. What separates them from ply snares is the stave shell is very dense with a thick re-ring resulting in enhancing all the characteristics of the drum.
