Taylor 214CE-K DLX Special Edition Honeyburst Acoustic/Electric! Comes with Taylor Deluxe Hardshell Case!

Players seeking an all-purpose acoustic guitar with striking looks to match its rich tone are sure to love the 214ce-K DLX. This versatile Grand Auditorium boasts back and sides of beautifully figured layered Hawaiian koa paired with a solid torrefied Sitka spruce top, combining for a vibrant yet warm tone with room-filling projection and a clear, balanced profile across the frequency spectrum. Our special roasting recipe for the top adds a dash of warmth and sweetness that you'd expect from an older guitar, while the cantilevered V-Class bracing inside dials up more volume, longer sustain and clearer harmony between notes. This Deluxe model is capped with upgraded appointments like gold hardware, a full-body gloss finish, and Sentinel fretboard inlays available now from our friends at Taylor Guitars at Northeast Music Center!

The Taylor 214ce DLX Honey Burst Special Edition has earned that reputation by combining Taylor's renowned playability, unmistakable voice, and refined aesthetics into an instrument that continues to inspire players at every stage of their musical journey.

The first thing you'll notice is the Honey Burst finish. It possesses a quiet confidence, highlighting the natural beauty of the wood with warm amber tones that transition gracefully toward darker edges. Rather than competing with the guitar's design, the burst enhances it, creating an appearance that feels timeless, elegant, and unmistakably Taylor.

From the very first chord, the 214ce DLX demonstrates why the Grand Auditorium body has become Taylor's signature design. It offers a remarkable balance between power and precision, delivering enough projection for confident rhythm playing while retaining the articulation and note definition that fingerstyle musicians appreciate. Whether you're accompanying a vocalist, exploring alternate tunings, or developing new compositions, the guitar responds with clarity, consistency, and an effortless musicality that encourages creativity.

Versatility has always been at the heart of the 214 Series. It is equally comfortable in the hands of a weekend performer, a dedicated songwriter, a recording artist, or a guitarist searching for an instrument capable of adapting to virtually any musical situation. Its balanced voice allows chords to remain full without becoming muddy, while individual notes retain the separation and sparkle that have become hallmarks of the Taylor sound.

The "DLX" designation reflects a thoughtful step beyond the standard model, offering appointments that elevate both the visual presentation and the ownership experience. Every detail contributes to a guitar that feels carefully considered rather than simply upgraded, reinforcing Taylor's commitment to craftsmanship that extends beyond the fundamentals.

What continues to distinguish every Taylor is the playing experience. Comfortable neck geometry, exceptional fretwork, and precise factory setup combine to create an instrument that feels immediately familiar. There is nothing to fight, nothing to overcome, and nothing standing between the player and the music. That effortless connection has become one of Taylor's defining achievements and remains one of the reasons so many musicians develop a lifelong loyalty to the brand.

When amplified, the onboard electronics preserve the guitar's natural acoustic character with remarkable transparency, making the transition from living room to stage seamless. The same balance, clarity, and responsiveness that define the unplugged experience remain intact, allowing the guitar's voice to translate naturally in performance and recording environments.

The Taylor 214ce DLX Honey Burst Special Edition is more than an attractive variation of a popular model. It represents the point where thoughtful design, dependable performance, and refined aesthetics come together in an instrument built to inspire years of music. It is the kind of guitar that earns its place not through extravagant features, but through the confidence it inspires every time it is picked up.

At Northeast Music Center, we believe the finest guitars are often the ones that continue to exceed expectations long after the excitement of the purchase has faded. The Taylor 214ce DLX Honey Burst Special Edition embodies that philosophy by offering a level of craftsmanship, versatility, and musical expression that encourages players to grow with the instrument rather than outgrow it.

We selected this Special Edition because it captures the qualities that have made Taylor one of the most influential names in acoustic guitars: exceptional playability, balanced tone, elegant design, and an unwavering commitment to the musician. Whether this is your first Taylor or the latest addition to a well-established collection, the 214ce DLX Honey Burst Special Edition is an instrument built to inspire every chapter of your musical journey.
