Evans UV2 EMAD Coated Bass Drumhead - 20"

The Evans EMAD UV2 isn't just a drumhead; it’s a solution for drummers who are tired of compromising between a natural feel and a controlled sound. By combining the reinforced strength of the UV-cured coating with the versatility of the EMAD (Externally Mounted Adjustable Damping) system, this head delivers a level of consistency that survives even the heaviest hitters.

• Double-Ply Power: Constructed with two plies of 7-mil film, the UV2 provides a reinforced low-end and enhanced attack that cuts through a live mix without sounding "plastic."

• The UV2 Edge: Evans' patented UV-cured coating eliminates the chipping, flaking, and premature wear found on traditional coated heads. It provides a subtle, warm texture that stays put, gig after gig.

• Tailored Damping: No need for internal pillows. The EMAD system comes with two interchangeable damping rings, allowing you to choose between maximum resonance or a tight, focused "thump" in seconds.

• Level 360 Technology: Featuring an ultra-consistent collar design, this head seats perfectly on your bearing edge for easier tuning and a wider pitch range.
