This guitar is from a private collection and is in unplayed condition

The Epiphone Joe Bonamassa 1960 Les Paul Standard “Norm Burst” is a stunning recreation of one of the most famous vintage guitars owned by blues-rock legend Joe Bonamassa. Inspired by Bonamassa’s original 1960 burst discovered at Norm’s Rare Guitars, this limited-edition model captures the look, feel, and tone of a classic vintage Gibson Les Paul Standard at an accessible price.

Designed for players and collectors alike, the guitar features a solid mahogany body with a beautifully figured AA flame maple top, finished in the iconic Norm Burst—a vintage-style sunburst that perfectly reflects the golden era of late-1950s and early-1960s Les Pauls. The comfortable SlimTaper 60s mahogany neck ensures fast playability while maintaining the classic feel associated with legendary Les Paul instruments.

Vintage Les Paul Tone and Performance

The Epiphone Bonamassa “Norm Burst” is equipped with a pair of Epiphone ProBucker™ humbuckers, engineered to replicate the warm, dynamic sound of classic late-50s PAF pickups. These pickups deliver rich sustain, articulate highs, and thick midrange, making the guitar ideal for blues, classic rock, and vintage-style lead playing.

A traditional 50s wiring configuration with Mallory tone capacitors provides improved tonal response and clarity when adjusting the volume controls—an important feature for players who shape their tone directly from the guitar.
