Beautiful flat top made by Gibson and sold under the Kalamazoo name, 1930's. Made by the same hands that manufactured the legendary Gibson instruments of the 1930's in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
We acquired this guitar from the family of the original owner - who had kept it in incredible condition. Many of these instruments are in (understandably) poor condition from age, with numerous cracks, breaks and repairs. This one is in incredible original condition. The finish is glossy, with light lacquer checking. There is one hairline surface fracture the middle bout - but is only a very minor cosmetic issue (only can be seen in certain light) and structurally sound.
Lovely big sound for a little guitar. Reasonably hefty V shape neck.
We have completed some restoration work, to future-proof it for the next generation! This included a neck reset to allow for a great playing action for years to come, as well as a fret level and crown. It now plays beautifully!
Includes original hardshell case (Paxwell, Perth W.A made case - which was supplied from new).
Will not disappoint, instant shop favourite!
