With the PRS SE NF 53, Paul Reed Smith presents a bolt-on electric guitar with a bold character, designed for classic rock and vintage-inspired tones. Its construction combines a resonant swamp ash singlecut body with a bolt-on maple neck, delivering a direct attack and a strong fundamental tone. The specially crafted NF 53 neck profile strikes a comfortable balance between modern playability and traditional feel, while two PRS Narrowfield DD “S” pickups provide the guitar’s signature voice. The abbreviation DD (“Deep Dish”) refers to the deeper coil design, allowing extra windings for a focused, powerful tone with remarkable clarity and definition. On the hardware side, a robust PRS plate-style bridge ensures precise intonation and solid sustain, complemented by PRS-designed tuners that offer dependable tuning stability.
