Beautiful guitar with some chipping on the heel, finish cracks around the jack but otherwise the color has faded evenly to a better hue than it started out as. And hasn’t faded near as much as many other sparkling burgundy Gibson I’ve had/seen or see. It’s all original with case except for a couple of the knobs, there are some in the case - and - the orange sticker is missing. There is not a lot of checking, I took a couple of pictures of the worst bit, no dings that I can find, and the neck is very nice! i got it from a guitar shop that got it from a single owner. I wanted to see if semi hollow body with humbuckers was for me, seemed like es335 would be the way to go, but hollow body (I’m not good enough?) is just not my style. The look and it being custom color is my style! But I’m just not playing it, it’s adorning my music room. It needs to be played out man, it’s gorgeous, it sings, here: here are some flowery words about it and Trinis in general guitar shops like to use to suck you in:

this Trini Lopez Standard shows a patina of authenticity and the burgundy adds some sultry sparkle to the common cherry red ES-335 formula! Though it has the snazzy engraved rosewood-and-plastic tailpiece insert carrying the "Trini Lopez Model" designation, with a couple of extra diamonds that might class up a jazz box, the diamond shaped f-holes and angular headstock add words of caution “high voltage!” or “check this **** out”!

How smoothly this still plays, stays in tune and how comfortable and tight it feels I think is a testament to the quality of craftsmanship from that era. you Probably know all about the specs if you are looking but here are the main things - tune-o-matic bridge, patent number pickups, “c” profile mahogany neck, maple top/back/sides, rosewood fingerboard, medium-jumbo frets, 1.56” nut width, 24.75 scale length, 2 volume controls, 2 tone controls, weight - 7lb 14oz

In a sea of late 60s es-335’s this would be a much better choice and in this condition as well, these aren’t going to turn up very often.
