Instead of having several switched algorithms, Darkness has a single versatile and flexible algorithm that can create from small and smooth reflections up to huge shimmering and endless reverbs. Experimenting is strongly suggested!

• 32-bit @ 48kHz digital effects processor
• Variable time scale with triangle or sample & hold modulation
• Selectable pitch shift ±12 semitones with variable mix amount for shimmering sounds
• Up to 30-second decay times
• 2-pole high pass / low pass damping filter
• Freeze function loops 150ms of the input signal

Left shift alternate function: set damping filter cutoff frequency

Right shift alternate function: set gate threshold

DECAY knob main function: set effect feedback level

Left shift alternate function: set modulation depth

Right shift alternate function: set gate attack time

The MODE switch toggles between two main functions for the CONTROL knob.

Position 1: set modulation rate

Position 2: set gate release time

The CONTROL knob main function is set by the MOD switch.

MOD switch position 1: set modulation rate

MOD switch position 2: set gate release time
