The GB10 was developed in 1978 in collaboration with jazz guitarist George Benson and Ibanez. Featuring a compact size that allows comfortable playing whether standing or sitting, GB Special pickups exclusive to the GB series, an ebony fingerboard, and an ebony bridge, it has become Ibanez's longest-selling signature archtop model.

The GB debuted in Chicago in June 1977. It has been loved for over 40 years and is the oldest Ibanez artist signature model.

IBZ "GB" Special floating pickup produces pure jazz tones even at high volumes.

The sturdy top and compact body design minimize feedback.

The GB10 has maintained its status as a classic guitar for over 40 years, with its style unchanged.
