The Apogee HypeMiC is a USB cardioid condenser microphone with a built-in analog compressor, designed for vocals, podcasting, streaming, and instrument recording on Mac, Windows, iPad, and iPhone. It ships with the stand hardware, pop filter, case, and cables needed to start recording immediately.
Built-in Analog Compressor
A studio-style analog compressor sits in the signal path before conversion, with three settings for spoken word, singing, and instruments. Compression is applied to the audio as it is recorded, which keeps levels even without a plug-in or an external channel strip.
