【Product Description】

■Sterling by Musicman AX40 AXIS Trans Blue

■Features

Inheriting the design and concept of the legendary AXIS, this is the

Sterling by Music Man AX40 AXIS Trans Blue, reissued for the Japanese market.

Its compact, easy-to-handle AXIS shape,

paired with a quilted maple veneer top,

combined with gold hardware, creates a premium finish.

Its Japan-exclusive status adds to its rarity, making it a standout piece distinct from the standard line.

The basswood body emphasizes a responsive and easy-to-play sound character.

The hard maple neck and fingerboard deliver fast attack and a well-defined tone.

Equipped with two humbucking pickups (HH configuration),

It features a HH configuration with two humbucker pickups.

Despite its very simple layout of 1 volume + 3-way toggle switch,

it handles a wide range from clean to distorted tones,

delivering a practical sound that faithfully reflects the player's touch.

The bridge employs a double-locking tremolo,

ensuring stable tuning performance even under aggressive arm work.

Combined with the high rigidity provided by the 5-bolt neck joint,

this design offers a high level of confidence during performance.

Visually, there are some minor scratches in places,

but overall, it maintains a clean appearance

and is in good condition.

The neck is nearly straight, with ample truss rod adjustment room in both directions.

Approximately 80% of the frets remain, and the electronics function without issues.

Our shop has performed a full cleaning,

fret and fingerboard polishing, neck and string height adjustments, and new string installation,

ensuring it's ready for comfortable playing immediately upon arrival.

Given its excellent overall condition, we highly recommend this instrument.
