This pedal is a fresh spin on Thorpy's much loved Peacekeeper low-mid gain overdrive. The Peace²keeper employs a secret stash of NOS germanium diodes and some choice circuit tweaks for a uniquely detailed variant on this modern classic. ⁣

ThorpyFX had a small stash of these diodes from the pre-ThorpyFX days that they had been holding onto for something special. There is only a finite number of these diodes so once this batch is gone, they're gone. Mods include a symmetrically clipped drive section (as opposed to the asymmetrically clipped original) and an even broader gain range, for a swath of sounds that ranges from the subtlest boost to fat, edgy blues grime, all the way up to compressed, sag heavy amp approaching destruction. ⁣

The two versions of the Peacekeeper together sound fantastic stacked, so even if you already have an original, it’s worth getting both. And if we you were inclined to try two Peacekeepers with two Peace²keepers, we wouldn't stop you.
