Evans EMAD Heavyweight Clear Bass Drumhead – Professional 18" Kick Drum Head

The Evans EMAD Heavyweight Clear Bass Drumhead delivers the deep, punchy tone and responsive dynamics that professional drummers demand. Built with two identical 10-mil plies, this dual-ply bass drumhead combines maximum durability with a compressed attack and impressive dynamic range. The result is a dark, powerful sound that rewards harder playing with extra punch and definition. What sets the EMAD Heavyweight apart is its signature Externally Mounted Adjustable Damping (EMAD) system. This innovative design lets you fine-tune your kick drum's attack and focus without removing the head or reaching inside the drum. Paired with two interchangeable damping rings, you can dial in the exact amount of thump and low-end control your playing style requires.
