Whether you're laying down vocals, guitar, or bass, the 6176 makes everything sound bigger, clearer, and more alive. It's like having a professional studio in a single box.
Universal Audio 6176 Vintage Channel Strip ReviewThe Universal Audio 6176 blends two classic tools into one powerful piece of gear: the 610 tube preamp and the 1176LN compressor. Together, they deliver the iconic tones heard on countless hit records. The preamp section offers variable impedance, shelving EQ, and crystal-clear detail, while the 1176-style compressor delivers fast, punchy control with its famous "All Button" mode. With its Join/Split switch, you can use each section separately or together, giving you serious flexibility whether you're tracking vocals, bass, or anything in between.
