Wireless Tascam RC-71 Remote Adapter

I purchased this custom remote control for a TASCAM 34B I recently sold. He may still be in business. it works 100% see pictures.
Get rid of the wired remote and move to wireless.

Works with the following decks
Tascam Reel to Reel: 22-4, 32, 34, 34B, 38, 42, 42N, 44, 44OB, 48, 48-OB

Tascam Cassette deck: 112, 112B, 122, 122MkII 133 and 234
Tascam Mixer/Recorder: 246, 388
Teac Reel to Reel: A-3440, A-6110mkII
and other decks that use the 12-pin WAKA connector. See picture below.

This unit controls the standard transport controls on the Tascam cassette deck (Play, Stop, F.F., Rew, Pause and Record). It uses any standard universal remote programmed to control a Sony VCR.

Installation: Turn off the power to the tape deck. Plug the remote adapter into the remote connector on the back of the tape deck. Now power can be turned back on. The light on the front of the remote adapter should be on.

The remote adapter controls the following 7 transport functions: Forward Play, Reverse Play, Stop, Fast Forward, Rewind, Record and Pause. All functions can be controlled using any universal remote programmed for the proper Sony VCR code. Reverse play is controlled by the number 1 button on the remote keypad.
