Introducing the 5-string DarkRay, an innovative StingRay model designed in collaboration with Darkglass Electronics. The custom Darkglass 2-band active preamp offers three modes: Clean (Preamp-only), Alpha (Distortion), and Omega (Fuzz), all accessible without a pedalboard. Switch between these circuits effortlessly with a color-coded LED ring and 3-way selector.
You’ll unlock total tonal control via volume, treble, and bass adjustments, along with onboard gain and blend knobs for customized distortion. A roasted maple neck and ebony fingerboard round out the modern design.
Custom Darkglass Active Preamp
We’ve ramped up the StingRay sound with a custom Darkglass clean 2-band active preamp, featuring two drive circuits: Alpha (Distortion) and Omega (Fuzz). Both circuits are fully mixable via an onboard gain knob and blend control.
Eye-Catching Led Ring
Flip the 3-way switch, and a glowing LED ring signals your mode—red for Alpha, blue for Omega. Switch to preamp-only for an ultra-clean tone, plus volume, treble, and bass controls.
Modern Design
The iconic DarkRay design includes an alnico humbucking pickup, roasted maple neck with ebony fingerboard, comfort contoured StingRay body, and the familiar 4+1 headstock configuration.
