A 1970 Yamaha SG-3C, the flying banana, in Ako Night Blue, one of three factory colors and the one seen least. The serial dates it to 1970. All original: we pulled the pickups to verify, and the original tremolo, pickguard, knobs and the hardshell case are all here, the case being the thing most of these lost decades ago.
The sound is warm on the bottom and forward in the mids, with some edge when the amp is pushed, and it is easier to play than a guitar this shape has any right to be. Light finish checking, nothing structural. The frets have wear and life left, and the electronics work the way they should.
Ako Night Blue. Excellent condition, shown in the photos. Comes with the original hardshell case.
