The Squier Affinity Series Active Jazz Bass V in Black Metallic delivers modern tone and extended range with sleek, stage-ready style. Designed for players who want punchy clarity and active control across five strings, this bass is a versatile powerhouse built for performance.
Its thin, lightweight poplar body and slim “C”-shaped maple neck offer smooth playability, while the maple fingerboard with black block inlays adds a retro touch. The dual Squier Ceramic Noiseless™ Jazz Bass pickups are shaped by an active 9V 2-band preamp, giving you precise control over bass and treble frequencies. Whether you’re dialing in deep lows or crisp highs, the stacked tone controls and blend knob let you sculpt your sound with precision. A 5-saddle bridge and vintage-style open-gear tuners round out the hardware for reliable tuning and intonation.
