The Warm Audio WA-47T tube condenser microphone brings the coveted sound of vintage classics into your studio. Designed to accurately capture the deep lows, rich mids and smooth highs of iconic mics, the WA-47T uses premium components to deliver that signature warmth and detail. With its custom K47-style capsule and true-to-original spec TAB transformer, this mic excels on vocals, drums, pianos and more.

Premium Capsule Recreates a Legendary Sound

At the heart of the WA-47T lies a meticulously recreated K47-style capsule that provides the authentic tone of early vintage mics. This large-diaphragm capsule captures pristine detail across a wide 20Hz–20kHz frequency range with peaks in all the right places for vocal recording. The capsule's custom-crafted quality and vintage-accurate voicing are responsible for the WA-47T's stunning realism and depth.

Historically Accurate Transformer Provides Vintage Vibe

A custom TAB transformer, made to vintage 47 mic specs, helps shape the WA-47T's signature sound. TAB has been manufacturing transformers for decades and worked closely with Warm Audio to develop a model that precisely recreates the lush harmonics and sweet saturation of originals. From the transformer to the premium tube and film capacitors throughout its circuitry, the WA-47T spares no detail in achieving vintage authenticity.

Premium Tube Delivers Low Noise and Rich Tone

At the center of the WA-47T's signal path sits a premium 5751 vacuum tube that provides exceptionally low self-noise and high analog warmth. With a gain perfectly suited for the K47 capsule and TAB transformer, the 5751 tube gives recordings a richness and depth that sets the WA-47T apart. Its full, dimensional tone helps bring performances to life with stunning realism.

Swiss-Made Cable and Rugged Build

Even the WA-47T's 7-pin cable, made by Gotham of Switzerland, contributes to its pristine signal transfer and nuanced sound. With premium components throughout and a sturdy build, the WA-47T is a mic destined to become a studio workhorse and stand up to years of professional use. As an authentic recreation of a legend at an attainable price, the WA-47T tube condenser mic lets you experience the coveted sound of vintage in your own studio.
