If you are looking for a handy acoustic guitar in professional quality, the Gibson LG-2 All Mahogany Faded Vintage Sunburst is an excellent choice. With its solid body, the model produces an amazingly assertive sound despite its compact design and is therefore definitely suitable for the stage. It can also be used there with its high-quality pickup and delivers an excellent performance at all times. Every nuance of its overwhelming sound is faithfully reproduced and makes every song a unique listening experience. The pickup system also has a discreet preamp in the sound hole. This includes a volume and tone control for flexible sound shaping. The instrument comes in a robust Gibson case that ensures the best protection.

The guitar owes its warm sound with a pronounced mid-range spectrum to its solid mahoganytop, back and sides. This tropical tonewood is an absolute classic in guitar making and is used in numerous high-quality models on the market. In addition, the top is equipped with a bracing in the form of a Scalloped X bracing, which significantly improves the vibration behavior with its strips cut deeper in the middle. Powerful strumming and fine plucking patterns are thus equally effective and allow a high degree of versatility in terms of playing style. The result is an instrument that offers singer-songwriters in particular a worthy vocal accompaniment and lends every piece great emotional depth.

Thanks to its short scale length of 628.7 mm, the Gibson LG-2 All Mahogany Faded Vintage Sunburst has an outstanding playing feel. The low string tension is easy on the hand muscles and fingertips and allows relaxed playing over a long period of time. In addition, the compact body and the mahogany neck with a round neck profile fit perfectly in the hand. With these handy dimensions, the guitar is also an excellent choice for on the go. It is rounded off with professional hardware consisting of a 43.8 mm wide bone nut, a bonebridge inlay and sturdy tuners. This ensures consistently clean intonation and high tuning stability for pure playing pleasure.
