This 5-string bass has a chambered Swamp Ash body. Seen here in a Burgundy Blackburst Transparent Satin finish, the body shape is sleek and undersized with deeper cutaways for better playability and a full two octave note range. The neck is made from American Maple and has an American Maple fretboard with 24 nickel silver frets. This bass is fitted with two passive Sadowsky Soapbar pickups, both in a modern position, and has active electronics that offer true bypass, Vintage Tone Control, as well as treble and bass boost. Hardware includes Sadowsky light open gear tuners and a Sadowsky Quick String Release bridge. Each Sadowsky MetroLine 24-Fret Modern Bass is made exclusively in our workshop in Germany and weighs no more than 8.9 lbs (4.0 kg).
