The BOSS XS-100 Poly Shifter takes pitch-shifting to a higher level, designed for guitarists and bassists who want full creative control over alternate tunings, harmonies, and real-time pitch movement. With its onboard expression pedal, detailed parameters, and memory storage, this pedal is ideal for players who want a serious performance tool that can adapt quickly to different musical settings.

At the core, the XS-100 uses a new polyphonic pitch-shifting engine that keeps chords and single notes clean and natural, even with wide interval jumps. You get up to four octaves of shift range with smooth expression pedal control, plus capo-style tuning, drop-tune options, and subtle detune effects. The graphic LCD and extensive side parameters make it easy to fine-tune response to your playing style, while 30 onboard memories let you store and recall favorite setups. MIDI I/O and USB expand its integration with larger rigs, and the independent analog dry-through output ensures your unaffected tone stays intact.

Built tough for gigging, the XS-100 also allows flexible footswitch and expression assignments, giving you quick access to alternate tunings or dramatic pitch sweeps without slowing down your performance. We like this model because it offers deep control and versatility, yet remains intuitive enough to use live without overthinking. It's a solid fit for players who want both simplicity on stage and detailed customization in the studio.
