DESCRIPTION

Introducing the Ibanez P Series from the Genesis Collection—a ferocious, no-compromise instrument engineered for high-octane rock and metal. With its bold reverse body style and headstock, the P Series commands attention both visually and sonically, making it a go-to for players who thrive on adrenaline-fueled performance.

Rooted in Ibanez’s legacy, the Genesis Collection honors the original RG blueprint, combining its iconic design with Japanese craftsmanship and modern enhancements. The result is a shred-ready machine that delivers searing tone and razor-sharp playability.

At the heart of this model is the ultra-fast Super Wizard 5-piece Maple/Walnut neck, offering players an incredibly smooth and responsive feel—perfect for lightning-fast riffs, tapped leads, and technical runs. The rosewood fretboard adds tonal warmth and midrange focus, while jumbo frets provide maximum control for expressive single-note phrasing and effortless bends.

The basswood body keeps things lightweight without sacrificing tonal balance, allowing for long sessions without fatigue. A dynamic pairing of Ibanez Infinity R and V8 pickups delivers crushing clarity and precision, whether you’re dialing in clean passages or unleashing a wall of distortion.

Adding to its elite spec list, the Edge tremolo bridge and Gotoh® machine heads ensure tuning stability and fine intonation—essential for dive-bombs, squeals, and pitch-perfect solos.

With stripped-down controls and aggressive styling, the P Series is built to inspire fearless performance—whether you're tapping through complex passages or letting loose with bone-rattling metal leads.
