TPP CUSTOM SHOP "LAYLA" STRATOCASTER TRIBUTE

About the guitar...

This TPP Custom Shop "Layla" Stratocaster Tribute has been produced by The Painted Player Guitar Co. in the UK using a stunning Fender American Eric Clapton Signature Series "Blackie" Stratocaster, featuring Clapton Mid-Boost, TBX Tone Circuit and onboard 9V battery supply as per Clapton's own specs, as well as blocked tremolo for Hardtail play (can be unblocked and prepared for standard trem action on request) but has been specially upgraded with a set of Lace Sensor Single Coil Pickups to emulate the first iteration of this iconic guitar back in the late 80's.

The entire piece has been re-finished in Graffiti Yellow, followed by stunning hand finished artwork based upon the iconic LP cover art from the classic album "Layla: and other assorted Love Songs" by Derek & the Dominos" - one of Clapton's seminal works alongside the legendary Duane Allman. A unique concept, this beautiful Strat pays tribute to one of the finest studio albums of all time and the guitarist that brought it to the world. A unique collector's item for a Clapton fan as well as an absolute killer guitar on stage and in the studio!
