The MXR M87 Bass Compressor packs rackmount-quality dynamics processing into a durable, lightweight stompbox. You get all the familiar controls you'd find in a recording studio — Attack, Release, Ratio, Input, and Output — enabling you to achieve everything from invisible peak limiting to full-bore squash. The M87's Constant Headroom Technology (CHT) guarantees maximum headroom and clarity, permitting your bass's full dynamic range right up to the compressor's threshold. With a 10-segment LED gain-reduction meter, dial in your sound as easy as 1-2-3. True bypass switching rounds out this must-have bass effects pedal. Players who demand studio-level compression onstage will love everything about the M87 Bass Compressor — no rack required.
