Vester Tradition 1980s Vintage Custom Stratocaster Fender Slayer New In Shop

Superb vintage Vester Tradition strat from the 1980s.

Beats most USA Fender strats hands down - one of the best kept secrets in the guitar world.

The Vester Tradition range are not to be confused with the Vester Stage Series guitars, which had a lower quality build with a laminated body and lower spec, though even these are sought after and well thought of guitars.

The Tradition series were Vesters top spec, top quality guitars. Only a few thousand of the 'Tradition' series guitars were produced before Fender threatened to sue Vester so production of Vester Fender and Gibson copy guitars was stopped.

They were built in Korea by Saehan Guitar Technology, a subdivision of Zaozhuang Saehan Music Co Ltd in South Korea (now known as Sunghan Music) and rivalled the Fender guitars made in the USA and Japan of the time.

During this period Vester also made copies of Les Pauls and Teles until Fender threatened legal proceedings against the company and so Vester then stopped manufacturing their copies of the American models.

These Tradition Strat replicas are very good with high end manufacturing. The Vester tradition series are little known but stunning guitars, real hidden gems. This guitar is in great condition for her age. Plays great and sounds great.

Awesome strat with a fantastic playing neck, lovely low action. Has been professionally set up by my guitar technician.
