Like the USA Custom version, Brooklyn’s Hammered Chrome Over Brass starts with a knurled 1.2mm chrome plated hammered brass shell. However, the Brooklyn version is built with Gretsch 302 hoops and a 20 strand snare wire. The result is a hammered chrome over brass snare drum with more sustain and energy then the USA model. Although the hammer patterns produce a drier sound than the un-hammered version, if you prefer a bit more livelier drum in overall sound, this is the better choice for you.
Additional features include Lightning throw-off and Permatone drum heads by Remo. Hardware options are available as a custom build option (tone control, 42 strand snare wire).
