Premier 'Bonham-style' vintage 26" bass drum set w/ famous thin 3-ply birch shells - very original!

This is one highly unusual, original early '70's PREMIER drum set in its original black wrap. This kit is a big boomin' 14"x26" bass drum, 9"x13" & 10"x14" mounted tom-toms, and 15"depth x 16" diameter/head floor tom - TWO center mounts are included with this sale, a normal double-mount to use both tom-toms and also the rare single mount to use only one mounted tom-tom. Both methods are clearly shown. The set could be used as a 26/13/14/16, 26/13/16 or 26/14/16 with equal ease. I have owned, played and recorded with several Premier 26" bass drum kits of this, their best vintage. These drums sound warm and loud with the famous thin 3-ply Premier birch shells with retaining rings. Obviously, these are very similar in construction as the best Ludwig ever offered, thin 3-ply shells with retaining rings. Premier is also famous for their sexy, Art Deco long lug casings as well as their chrome plating (said to have been subcontracted by the same folks who plated for Rolls-Royce) and their cast tom-tom hoops. These are International drums, meaning that all drum heads fit easily - no need to order metric. Premier bass drums have an extra wide recessed inlay for the color strip on their bass drums, and the wood on the bass hoops is painted silver instead of black like most all other manufacturers, which makes for a dressy look. I love Premier drums, have had many great kits from them, mostly from this vintage.  
I don't think that his big kit was played that hard, but I wish that the prior owner would have wiped it down after playing it - this kit needs a bath. It's got some minor scrapes and miniscule scratches (mainly from careless polishing) but no extra holes, no burns, no wrap-shrink. All metal & chrome pieces are better than average but not excellent - this is a player's kit that will easily clean-up -- but it's original and way cool with massive mojo!  Hoops and inlay are original and intact, tension rods & claws 'n T's are original (some missing from the 13"), so is the way cool original PREMIER '70's logo bass drum resonant head, in excellent condition. The original factory black wrap, even with its small scrapes, looks suitably badass under bright stage lights.
