Extremely versatile two-channel design

The original Rockerverb achieved cult status for its iconic high-gain tones. The Mk IIIs continue this tradition, of course, but these amps are enormously flexible. The Dirty channel ranges from clean to crunch to the strongest modern saturation, always maintaining excellent clarity. The clean channel without master volume has been revised to take on a more sparkling and crunchy character, but with better control through a re-tuned two-band EQ section. The Mk IIIs have even more headroom and volume in full power mode if you need it, but this can now be manipulated with the amp's output power and attenuation controls.

Foot-switchable, valve-driven spring reverb

Driven by an ECC83/12AT7 tube and a custom transformer, the spring reverb circuit in the Mk III has been significantly improved. This lush spring reverb circuit is brighter and more controllable than its predecessor, covering everything from ‘air’ to full surf.

Footswitch switchable attenuation control

Turned up amplifier tones to ‘conversation volume’. The attenuation circuit is located behind the main volume controls and determines when and how the amplifier distorts after the pre-amplification stage. This means that the overall volume can be reduced while maintaining control over the clipping characteristics of the entire amplifier.

Switchable output power

Switching the output power of the amplifier gives you more control over the headroom and separation from the output tubes. Reduce the power for more clipping and saturation of the output tubes at lower volumes. The Rockerverb 50 Mk III features a ‘half power’ mode that lowers the plate voltage on the output tubes, reducing the output power to 25W.
