1999 Climax 112 All Tube 1x12" Guitar Combo Amp - Kendrick
This vintage amplifier came to us as part of the Michale Hale collection and this amp not only sounds amazing, but it is in superb cosmtic shape as well. Comes with a Fender cover, not great, but better than no cover.
We’ve nicknamed this cool amp, ‘LOCOMOTIVE CRASH’. Guess why! Includes the original logo which we removed temporarily.
These amps were built by Gerald Weber of Kendrick Amplifiers in close collaboration with Ken Fisher utilizing Ken’s very specific designs. This amp sounds incredible with both amazing cleans and a rich, boutique tube overdrive. This amp is in excellent condition and in perfect working order. Everything is original. The EL34 tubes have plenty of life left. The Kendrick 1x12 speaker is still in great shape. A power cable is included. The Climax achieves the famed ‘Locomotive Crash’ tone at a bargain!
It has been unplayed since it was gone over and has sat in the collection of Mr. Mike Hale until we purchased it to offer for sale today. Michael was a fixture in the Jazz community, a large collector of amazing Jazz guitars and a frequent contributor to JazzGuitar.be under his user name BigMikeinNJ. Due to recent health setbacks, Mike sold his entire collection to us and we will be offering 70 of the finest Jazz guitars made over the next several months.
We are selling this guitar amp as a pickup only item at our store in Harrisonville, Mo., but we can ship it for the actual discounted cost that we pay to ship it through UPS, but the buyer would be responsible for the shipping cost, and also would be responsible for the shipping cost if they decide to send it back. Because of the great rates we get, we can ship the guitar for under $35.00 to most of the U.S., BUT the major cost of shipping on this would be the insurance, which would add another $90.00 or so to the price of shipping. Since you are choosing the shipping, you would choose the amount to insure it for, but if it gets damaged in shipping, that would also be on you, so we reccomend insuring it for the full sale price.
We pack each guitar amp we ship very well and we are confident that any guitar we ship will arrive intact and ready to play.
