This is the Gibson Custom Shop Jimmy Page EDS-1275 - an ode to one of the most iconic electric guitars of all time! Even though Gibson was making doublenecks since '58, it was Jimmy who put the EDS-1275 on the map as he used it for iconic Led Zeppelin concerts for songs such as Stairway to Heaven or The Song Remains the Same or Rain Song. Built in close collaboration with Jimmy Page himself, this recreation uses new 3D scanning technology to make the closest replica to his personal instrument yet. This is the VOS '69 Cherry version which comes with a light patina, but without any of the wear and tear created by the Murphy Lab.
Specs include a one-piece mahogany body, hide glue & long tenon fitted mahogany necks with profiles 3D-scanned from the original guitar. The EDS-1275 features four Jimmy Page Custombuckers with uncovered black bobbins on the six-string side and nickel covers on the 12-string. Each Jimmy Page EDS-1275 includes a fitted hardshellc ase along with a vintage-style leather strap and a photograph from famed photographer Barrie Wentzell.
